Statement of Mission
Our core mission is to live by faith, to be known by love, and to be a voice of hope to Iranians locally and worldwide.

Statement of Vision
We dream of being a place where all experience the Life-Giving Ministry of the Holy Spirit.  We dream of celebrating the fullness of joy found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

We dream of the lives of thousands of Farsi-speaking people in this area being changed by the power of God. Precious people who will come to know the unconditional love of God, the complete forgiveness of sin, and the awesome gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

We dream of a church made up of people who are discovering their unique God-given ministries.  Members who are committed to extending God’s Kingdom as their top priority and who yearn to have a lasting spiritual impact in the LA area.

We dream of a spiritual awakening among the upcoming generation resulting in the harvest of countless numbers of a new generation who we will serve, train, and release as the future leaders of the body of Jesus Christ, leading us into the 21st century.

We dream of the Persian World Outreach serving as a House of Prayer for Farsi-speaking people.  And that this dynamic center of prayer, spiritual warfare, and worship would result in a city-wide, nation-wide, and world-wide spiritual awakening.  We dream of multiple and diverse prayer ministries developing in different locations at different times and for different areas of need.

We dream of the Persian World Outreach being an Expression of God’s Love to the other churches of our area.

We dream of the Persian World Outreach as a living demonstration of the “Father Heart of God” to the deepest pains and the greatest needs of the Farsi-Speaking people in our area.

We dream of the Persian World Outreach becoming an International Sending Center of missionaries for the furtherance and fulfillment of the great commission throughout the world.

Statement of Values

We Share the Values of . . .

01 Encouragement We want whatever we do to be “life giving” in its impact.  “...for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life...” II Corinthians 3:6.
02 Hospitality We remind people of their value at every opportunity.  “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.” Galatians 6:10.
03 Relationships We emphasize relationships as a healthy starting point for all ministries.  “...Commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others.” II Timothy 2:24
04 Pioneering We are open to change and new ways of doing God’s work.  “But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved.” Luke 5:38.
05 Integrity We pursue truth in all aspects of our lives; even when it hurts.  “Behold, you desire truth in the inward parts...” Psalm 51:6.
06 Unity We promote our oneness through our words, attitudes, and actions.  “...endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”  Ephesians 4:3
07 Guidance We listen for God’s directions in big and small things alike.  “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths”.  Proverbs 3:6.
08 Servant hood We follow Jesus’ example in serving one another.  “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45.
09 Humility We want to keep “His Mind” in us at all times.  “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.…”  Philippians 2:5.
10 Forgiveness We extend a lot of forgiveness because we’re all imperfect people.  “And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”  Ephesians 4:32.
11 Quality We encourage excellence as an expression of our enthusiasm for God.  “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.…” Colossians 3:23.

Statement of Beliefs

The Persian world Outreach’s teaching and living is based upon the following foundational truths:

01 The Bible is the Word of God.  It is God-breathed and without error.  It is the final authority for our faith and living. Psalm 19:7-8; Matthew 5:18,
II Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12,
II Peter 1:20-21
02 God exists eternally as three persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Matthew 29:19; I Corinthians 12:4-6;
II Corinthians 13:14; Hebrews 9:14
03 The Heavenly Father, the first person of the triune Godhead, in His great love for the world, sent His beloved, only begotten Son into the world as the Savior of mankind to provide everlasting life for each believer. John 3:16; Romans 8:14; I John 4:14
04 Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God.  He was manifested in the flesh by virgin birth; was crucified as the only acceptable sacrifice for our sins; arose bodily from the grave; is preparing a place for us; and will return for us. Luke 1:35; John 1:1,14; John 14:1-6;
Acts 1:9-11; I Corinthians 15:3-19;
I Peter 2:24; I Peter 1:18-21
05 The Holy Spirit persuades us to confess Jesus as our Savior from our sins and Lord of our lives; indwells us to explain the Bible; and empowers us to live godly lives.  John 16:7-14; Acts 5:3-4;
Romans 8:9; I Corinthians 12:13; Ephesiansesians 5:17-21
06 Every person is a sinner and is separated from God until he repents of his sins and receives God’s gift of eternal life by trusting in Jesus Christ alone as Savior and Lord. Acts 4:12; Romans 3:23;
Romans 6:23; Ephesiansesians 2:8-9;
I Peter 1:18-21
07 Believers are eternally safe and secure in Jesus and give evidence of genuine faith by a life of good works. John 3:16; John 10:27-29;
Romans 8:38-39; James 2:14-17
08 The church is the living body of Jesus Christ on earth comprised of all believers in Jesus Christ.  It is manifested through assemblies which are devoted to worshipping God, maturing believers, and reaching unbelievers with the Gospel. Matthew 16:18; Matthew 28:19-20;
I Corinthians 12:27;
Ephesiansesians 1:22-23;
Ephesiansesians 4:11-13; Hebrews 10:25
09 The future life of believers is a blessed eternity with God in heaven.  Unbelievers face eternal suffering apart from God.  Matthew 25:46; John 3:16;
II Corinthians 5:8;
Revelation 20:11-15;
I Thessalonians 4:13-18

20 Jesus Christ We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and received a human body and a sinless human nature; yet, he retained his absolute deity, being at the same time truly God the Creator and truly man. John 1:1-14; Philippians 2:5-11; Colossians 2:9; Matthew 1:16-25; Luke 1:30-35; Luke 2:7,11; Galatians 4:4; Hebrews 2:14; Hebrews 1:8;

04 Scripture We believe that all Scripture is given by inspiration of God. By this we understand that holy men of God “were moved by the Holy Spirit” to write the very words of Scripture. We believe that this divine inspiration extends equally and fully to all parts of its writings whether historical, poetical, doctrinal, or prophetically, as they appear in the original manuscripts. II Peter 1:21; Exodus 20:1; II Timothy 3:16;
I Thessalonians 2:13; I Corinthians 2:11-14;
